Thank you to FabFitFun for providing a Summer 2019 box free for review. This post contains affiliate links.

Somewhere in all the madness of moving, FabFitFun graciously offered to send me their Summer 2019 seasonal subscription box. Somehow we were able to figure out how to get it to the right place. And not surprisingly, it’s the perfect thing to sweeten up a chaotic time.
FabFitFun boxes are a joy for many reasons.

First, a surprise box full of style, beauty, fitness, and lifestyle goodies on a doorstep never made anyone sad. (Maybe in some hypothetical case it does, but just go with me on this.)
Second, I get introduced to new brands and styles I might not get a chance to try otherwise.
And finally, anything I don’t put to use right away ends up being a great resource for gifts for friends, who are all too happy to try out something new.
The Summer 2019 box costs $39.99 with the coupon code ‘WHATYOUMAKEIT’, and is still available – for now.
So now the crucial question: is the Summer 2019 FabFitFun box worth it?
Let’s go through it all and see.
All members have a choice for the following:

Sutra Professional Mini Travel Blow Dryer (value $60) – I didn’t have a blow dryer in our temporary home, so getting this one was actually a useful choice. I was a little worried it was too small to get the job done, but it packs enough power to dry my hair fast! The size is perfect for travel, and the marble design is chic and unexpected. This one is a keeper.
Other options: Vi Paula Hermanny Lotus Towel (value $50), Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel (value $45), or Spiritual Gangster Maya Kimono (value $60)
Summer & Rose Navy Diamond Tote (value $50) – The print of this tote is so summery and fits any style. It does have a snap closure, and is a great size for beach or concert essentials. It’s a tote, but not a dinky one – the fabric is a thick canvas, and it’s lined as well. I was so excited to get this! I’m a bag lover.
Other options: 111Skin Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Masks (value $160), West Elm Indigo Tie-Dye Bowls (value $39), XO, Sienna Black Felt Letter Board (value $35)

Burn 60 Resistance Bands (value $34) – I can’t say I’ve tried resistance bands yet, so these will be my first. I’m glad FabFitFun posts workout videos online with tips for how to use these! They wouldn’t have been my first pick, but they may come in handy.
Other options: Jennifer Zeuner Star Double Necklace (value $50) or Odeme What a Pair Set of 2 Silicone Wine Glasses (value $25)
Annual Members have a choice of the following:
(All others get a random selection.)

Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream (value $28) – While I’m not a fan of their dry shampoo (which is so heavily scented it gives me a headache), I like the scent of this, and am in need of something to tame the frizz this season. It’s left my hair a little greasy so far – I need to figure out the right ratio to use.
Other options: Eyeko London Eye Do Black Liquid Eyeliner (value $22) or Mystery Item (value $24+)
Coola Organix SPF 30 Makeup Setting Sunscreen Spray (value $36) – Initially I turned my nose down at this. Who wears a full face of makeup to the beach? I don’t need it. But after remembering that SPF needs to be worn all the time, even if it’s cloudy, I realize now what a genius invention this is. Keeps makeup in place and protects from the sun? Winner.
Other options: Doctor Rogers Restore Healing Balm (value $30) or Intelligent Nutrients Refining Micro Polish (value $57)
In every box:

Invisibobble Original Duo Pack (value $16) – I LOVE THESE. My mom gave me hers (yes, she’s a FabFitFun lover, too), and I am obsessed. Love that they stay in my hair, have a chic look on my wrist, and don’t cut off my circulation. Plus the colors are perfectly neutral. There are six in a box, so I am stocked forever.
Generation Clay Ultra Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask (value $39) – I’m impressed with the ingredients found in this Australian-brand mask, though – looks to be non-toxic, which is always a good choice in my book. And after using it the first time, I instantly noticed more brightness, plus my face felt smooth and soft. It’s great for a nighttime pampering session.
Grace & Stella Rose Facial Spray (value $25.95) – Probably not something I would buy on my own, but loving it in this hot summer weather with no A/C. Refreshing, and rose-infused, so it’s not just a floral-scented perfume.
Whish Exfoliating Foot Mask (value $32) – Not something I’m eager to try. I’m just not the type to mask my foot very often.

Overall, the grand total value of the Summer box is…
$320.95. Again, the original cost is $39.99. (Insert wow-face emoji here.)
Even taking out the stuff I’m not sure I’ll use, like the foot mask and the resistance bands, we’re still at $254.95.
All in all – this might be my favorite box ever. I’ve found a use for almost all the items. My current favorites are that cute tote, the Invisibobbles (have I gushed about them yet?), the blow dryer, and that clay mask.
Which Summer 2019 products would you love to see arrive on your doorstep? Remember that you can customize your box, and even more so if you have an annual subscription. The code ‘WHATYOUMAKEIT’ gets you $10 off your first box. (Unfortunately, this code does not apply to annual memberships.)
