Hope on the home front.
Most of us are home at this moment in time – staying safe in our houses to prevent a global virus from spreading and affecting more people. Even if we need to go out for work, we end up back at home at the end of the shift.
There’s a lot of discouraging news, personal heartbreak, and serious challenges. We find ourselves with a lot of questions, and not a lot of answers.
It’s been how long? How much more do we have to go?
What will life look like when all this is over?
Am I doing enough in this season? Are my kids learning enough? (How much screen time is too much?)
When will our questions be answered?
(Just me?)
Hope, though. Hope seems a little out of reach sometimes.

How do you find peace and purpose during a pandemic? Can we choose faith and joy in self-isolation? How is God working while we’re in quarantine? What are bible verses for hope in hard times? Is there good news?
Today I’m sharing with you a little something I’ve been working on: Hope on the Home Front. It’s an ebook filled with Bible verses for the pandemic and encouragement for this crazy time.

It’s absolutely free, and it’s available for download right here, right now. No email address required (although I would love for you to sign up for the official What You Make It email list for monthly emails and access to the resource library, if you’re so inclined).
My prayer is that this book will spread hope, faith and encouragement in a challenging time.
We all need some Bible verses for overwhelming times – inspirational bible verses about strength, faith and trust for when our earthly logic and plans fail.
Rest assured – God is bigger than the pandemic; God is working through this time; and he is near to us through everything we are going through.
I hope it will help give some direction in your personal Bible study when you’re not sure what to read. I hope it points you towards words that will help you to trust in God in the middle of the quarantine.
This is a completely new thing for me, by the way. I have written Bible study posts, but never a whole e-book. It feels both nerve-wracking and victorious to get this out there!
Ultimately, though, this book is about God’s words, not mine. The affirmations, assurances and prompting that will prayerfully encourage and inspire you in the middle of this pandemic / quarantine season.

How about you?
How are you doing right now? Where are you finding hope on the home front?
