travels and adventures, part one

Growing up, we took a lot of road trips, so you could say I’m a seasoned travel veteran. If nothing else, you can at least say I love traveling. If it were up to me, I’d enjoy making a getaway every other week.

As if.

But we were lucky enough this month to have been able to live the dream! Two trips in one month. Sweet.

Here’s the first installment of travel pics – this trip was to Outer Banks, North Carolina. It was the perfect timing – a few weeks before the summer season began. Not a lot of tourists, and warm enough to enjoy the weather, but not to swim…although that didn’t discourage my hubby from taking a few dips. And throwing me in.
